Will it break my theme?
No theme code is edited. The app runs as an app embed that you switch on and off in the theme editor. Its script loads after your page.
Will it slow my store?
The script is deferred, and the search panel opens only when a shopper taps the button. Photos are resized in the browser before upload, so less data is sent.
Do you store my shoppers' photos?
No. A photo is processed in memory to find matches, then dropped. Photos aren't saved. Search counts carry no image, IP address, cookie or shopper ID.
Where is my data processed?
On AWS in Ireland (eu-west-1), including the image AI.
Do I need to tag products?
No. The app reads your product photos and stays in sync as your catalogue changes.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. After install the app indexes your catalogue, and you can run real photo searches on your own products in the admin before any trial or charge starts.
What happens when I uninstall?
The app embed, and the camera button with it, leaves with the app. There is no theme code to clean up. 48 hours later Shopify asks us to delete your store's data, and we do.
Which stores is it for?
Stores where the look matters more than the name: fashion, jewellery, bags, shoes, home decor, furniture, wallpaper and art. It is a weak fit for products that all look alike.
